Not sure.
Last Friday James and I attended our first Michigan Women’s Gymnastics meet.
It was our first live competition.
We’ve watched the Olympics through the years.
Thought it would be fun to see in person.
We were a bit lost at first.
College meets don’t run exactly like Olympic coverage.
Numbers were everywhere.
So were the athletes.
We spent the first half of [...]

Well done!
Just spent the weekend working at Disney World.
Stayed at the Swan and Dolphin Resort.
My first time there.
They walk their talk when it comes to inclusion.
There were several pools.
Each had it’s own chairlift.
Even the hot tub.
(It’s the white machine on the left of the hot tub.)
Way to go Swan and Dolphin Resort for investing in [...]

Thanks for calling.
Got a call today from a potential vendor.
First thing out of his mouth was an insult.
“Your website is a mess and not working.”
Huh?
Who was this clown?
He only gave me his first name.
Never heard of him or his company.
He didn’t say which of my three sites he was talking about.
“I can help you [...]

They are impressive.
It’s a mosquito bonanza in Ann Arbor.
And I have the blood they love.
I walk outside and get swarmed.
Whether morning or night.
They even find their way in our house.
To sup on my fine blood.
From sneak attacks while watching TV.
To greeting me when I step in the shower.
It’s an understatement to say they are intense.
I [...]

Please.
I got a call today.
Asking for a referral.
Knew someone who would be perfect.
Tried to pass on contact information.
Couldn’t find it.
In an easy form.
I could cut and paste.
And send on the fly to their potential client.
I had no recent email.
No signature file.
Couldn’t remember their website.
Didn’t have time to troll though social media sites.
It started to feel [...]

Felt the love.
Recently I had to pay for a service using PayPal.
It was a pretty big amount.
Wondered about security.
Felt buyer’s regret after pressing send.
A few minutes later the phone rang.
It was Paypal.
They noticed the big sale amount.
Verified I approved.
Boy did I.
I loved how PayPal looked out for me.
Reframed how I viewed them.
Felt relieved.
Makes me [...]

Not with me on board!
At the airport today.
Going towards my gate.
Walking next to moving sidewalk.
(Wanted to burn extra calories.)
Two pilots on the moving walkway.
Talking up a storm.
Ignoring me just feet away.
Hard not to listen in.
The pilots were junior guys.
Complaining about the senior pilots they fly with.
Giving way too many details.
In a very public place.
The [...]

Sort of.
Yesterday I fly to Vegas.
I was upgraded to first class.
(Always a lucky day in my book.)
And there was more.
It happened near the end of the flight.
The flight attendants were quite excited.
The CEO of the Golden Gate Casino was on the plane.
He had a gift for all the folks flying - a $25 chip [...]
