Mark Bledsoe was the Real Deal
Posted on December 22nd, 2011 by Cynthia D'Amour
My first round of graduate work focused on teaching.
- Had a stiff teacher who droned about being life-touchers.
- The content was good.
- But she was not believable.
My friends in class were creative yet rebellious people.
- We had trouble buying what the teacher was saying.
- So we manipulated her content a bit.
- Came up with a little ditty about being a life-toucher.
That song has been a mind-worm for almost 20 years.
- And today we lost someone who was the real deal.
- Mark Bledsoe, CAE.
- Life-toucher.
I was lucky to connect with Mark a few years ago.
- We became mutual fans.
- I appreciated his support.
- And enjoyed his friendship.
The bulk of our relationship was virtual.
- Dotted with periodic connections in the real world.
- Mark was an unassuming guy who loved his family.
- And leaned in to make the world a better place.
I can’t believe Mark’s gone.
- My heart cries with the world.
- That ditty crashes through my mind singing as tribute to Mark.
- And finds even more proof in the comments on Mark’s Facebook page.
I will miss you Mark.
