But I did.
I met with my trainer Mollie today.
Mollie is a trip.
I never know what I’m walking in to.
And yet always leave knowing I worked out.
Today felt sort of usual.
Creative exercises.
My face bright red.
My determination strong.
50 minutes into sweating, Mollie asked if I had enough.
Or if I had 10 more minutes in me?
Like a [...]

Especially at 2:30 AM!
Last night I went to bed early.
Sleep had been hard to catch this week.
With GiGi the puppy joining us.
I needed a good night of sleep.
All was going well until 2:30 AM.
My phone started buzzing.
I woke in a panic.
Ready to jump into action.

Raindrop here.
I had a good life.
Parents who spoiled me.
A big yard.
Neighbors who adored me.
I don’t understand why GiGi the puppy showed up.
She is a pest.
Wants to be part of everything.
She’s ruining my perfect life!
I like how we used to do things.
Now we have to worry about the young dog.
What will GiGi like?
Who cares!
Mom and Dad [...]

Is that me?
Stayed in a lovely hotel this weekend.
Room was lush.
Had great view.
Bed like a cloud.
And then there was the bathroom.
Dominated by a full-sized mirror.
Next to the toilet.
Across from the shower.
There was no getting away from the mirror.
Every time I walked in I got a full view.
Saw more of myself than I’ve seen in [...]
