Don’t Make Me Wonder

Details matter.
Today I got invited to an interesting party.
- Taking place at an upcoming convention.
- Fun location.
- Cool experience.
The problem?
- I have no idea how to RSVP.
- Maybe I don’t need to?
- They didn’t say anything about it on the invite.
Most convention parties ask for RSVPs
- For food counts.
- Cute take-aways for attendees.
- Ability to schedule transportation.
Not RSVPing makes me feel a little funny.
- I don’t want to be rejected at the bus.
- And would like to bring a friend.
- Not sure if it’s okay.
I’m invited to other events that same night.
- Will probably attend some of them instead.
- This event looks tempting.
- But not worth the energy to figure out how to do it right.
They forgot to spell out my next steps.
Makes me think of chapter leaders…Is it easy for people to say yes to your invitations?
