I’m Not Psychic

Are you?
James and I have belonged to the same organization for several years.
- We usually attend general meetings together.
- But not always.
- We volunteer in different ways.
They only send us one newsletter via snail mail.
- That’s okay.
- They save postage and paper.
- We share.
Just learned they are also sending only one email.
- To James.
- Not me.
- On a weekly basis!
What are they thinking?
- They have both our emails.
- Why send only to him?
- It doesn’t save anything - and has cost plenty!
James has never forwarded the weekly news to me.
- Nor mentioned it to me.
- He thought I was getting it.
- (Wouldn’t you?)
I’m disappointed.
- I traveled hard this fall.
- Didn’t feel connected due to being out of town.
- Getting the weekly scoop would have helped.
Did they really think I was psychic?
Makes me think of chapter leaders…how do you make sure your communications reach all your members?
