Aloha and Farewell…
Posted on December 14th, 2008 by Cynthia D'Amour
I spent the last week in Hawaii doing some professional development.
- Heard from top speakers in their area.
- Including Robert Bradford - THE strategic planner for mid-sized companies.
- And Kirstin Carey - sales and marketing expert for creative entreprenuers who want to grow their businesses.
Had several adventures.
- From seeing one of the prettiest beaches in the world.
- To leaning into the delightful mixture of Hawaiian food.
- And of course, time spent by the pool.
I’m already calculating my return on investment.
- Being very relaxed is huge.
- So is everything I learned…
- As long I don’t lose it in the holiday cheer.
My head is whirling with ideas about how I can better help associations and chapter leaders.
- James and I spent a few hours debriefing today.
- I need to do a brain dump.
- Then create some priorities.
Can’t wait to share what I’ve learned with you in 2009!
Makes me think of chapter leaders…how do you make sure your chapter gets beyond good ideas to actual implementation?
