It’s not very pretty!
I’m having a tough weekend.
A wild animal is in our house.
It’s stuck between the first and second floors.
The noise is like fingernails on chalkboard to me.
My nerves are frayed…
I listened to scratching for hours last night.
Got up to go to bed.
Tripped on space rug.
Long time since I’ve had such shooting pain.
Raindrop and [...]

My energy was zinging.
Luckily I caught myself in time - and got into bored traveler mode before it was too late.
What was going on?
Just before I left for the airport I read Kevin Holland’s review of my blog.
He said I was hypnotizing.
And hokey - with kooky photos!
It was a hilarious review - and so on the [...]

To blog about poverty.
Today is Blog Action Day.
Bloggers are encouraged to blog about some aspect of poverty.
It’s a worldwide effort.
I had planned to talk about something else today.
But the pressure started escalating yesterday.
And was strong-arming rampant today.
In group blasts and by individuals.
I’ve got mixed feelings about the discussions.
Of course, poverty is an important issue.
I’m not [...]

And you would too!
Raindrop here.
I’m so excited!
My t-shirts are finally in!
Didn’t the artist do a great job with me?
My autograph is part of the design.
Dad has my shirt on and is taking me downtown to see Dr. Alice.
We buy my food from her at her store Dogma.
She’s got some of the best treats in town!
We [...]

I hope not!
I stopped at the new drug store on the corner to pick up a few things.
The supervisor rang me up.
My bill - a whopping $3.28
I held out my CVS card to get credit.
(Every sale counts!)
The guy ignored my card.
I pushed it a little closer to him.
Still nothing.
“Excuse me, you forgot to zap [...]

I was wrong.
I spent the last week in St. Pete Beach writing my new book, The Lazy Leader’s Guide to Outrageous Results.
The Lazy Leader concept had been rolling in my head for almost a year.
It was time to come out.
In print by January 2009.
A week ago, I planned to write a sassy, “in-your-face” book
To [...]

Huh?
Usually I think I have a pretty strong vocabulary.
After seeing these signs for several days at the beach, I’m not so sure.
I know what a tee is.
I know what a groin is.
When I put them together, I’m clueless.
Makes me think of chapter leaders…do you repel potential new members by speaking in a secret code [...]

And the jellyfish won!
With me busy writing my Lazy Leader book, James decided to compete in a 5K open water swim.
The morning was beautiful.
The water calm.
The sand like white diamonds.
It was a great day for a race!
James arrived on time.
Met some neat people.
Got off to a strong start.
And then came the jellyfish…
James had his head out [...]
