A Simple Thank You

Made my day.
I just got a nice little thank you note from the ASAE staff who support the Strategic Research Committee.
- I am starting my second year as a volunteer on the team.
- They appreciated my help at the annual meeting.
- And are excited to work with me again.
What a great investment of time for them.
- Their total effort = 2 sentences and a PS.
- My return on their effort = big smile and lots of warm fuzzy thoughts.
- PLUS, when they call, I’m more likely to say “yes” to them.
(I’m a sucker for little notes of thanks.)
Makes me think of chapter leaders…how have you thanked your volunteers lately?
