   It felt good to arrive.

Last night we attended my niece’s dinner theater production at her church.

• We don’t belong to the church.
• Had never been there before.

Five people had greeted us.

• The first welcome came when we pulled onto the church property.
• Further into the complex, more greeters told us where to park.
• A nice man and his wife parked by us and introduced themselves as we walked towards the entrance.
• There were more greeters at the door.

Before we crossed the entrance into the church, we had quite the welcome.

• Totally melted any unease about being someplace new.
• We walked in feeling good about showing up.

Makes me think of chapter leaders…what kind of arrival experience do your potential members have at your chapter?
