Got Connections at the Hyatt?
I recently stayed a Hyatt Hotel.
As I finished the check in process, Vincent, the desk clerk, handed me my keys.
Ms. D’Amour. I put my name on your key holder. If you have any questions or need help while you are here, just give me a call.”
It was sort of weird…
I’ve heard a version of that speech before; however Vincent was the first I remember making a point to give me his name.
Just one word - his name - made me feel more welcome and in a way protected.
I knew if I had any challenges I had a connection who could help me.
Even more impressive, whenever I walked by the front desk, Vincent would nod at me or say hello.
- He either has a great memory - or liked my hair!
- It doesn’t matter. It made me smile every time.
Makes me think of chapter leaders…how do you help your members feel more connected to your chapter?

What hyatt did you stay at where you met Vincent? I am just curious. I work for the Corporate offices and would like to recognize this individual.
Hi Alya!
Thanks for reading my blog. It was the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego - one of your beautiful locations.
I was there from June 7 - 9 if that helps you find him. Vincent is a gem!
