We Did It!

Shouted the voice from above.
A few days ago, James took off work to participate in a advocacy day with one of the groups he’s involved in.
Because of some of the side things going on in our life, it was challenging to get him out the door.
- At points we debated whether or not he’d be able to go.
- He had to put Raindrop in doggy day care for the first time.
James persevered and had an interesting time meeting with various legislators as part of the statewide group.
Three days later, the government relations contact emailed James to share the bill they had supported passed.
- James was quite excited to be part of the success.
- The email fueled his enthusisam for the group.
(Why did I hear the shout from above? I was on the first floor and James’ office is on the second.)
Makes me think of chapter leaders… how do you help your members connect their time with you to meaningful impact?
