Taking Action With a Clean Sweep

Clean up   And discovering what really matters.

I’m once again using the TV for noise while working on the computer - it makes work feel less lonely.

The Clean Sweep show helps pack rats transform cluttered chaos into a beautiful living space.

  • First the family shares the purpose for each room.
  • Next, all of their stuff is carted into the front yard.
  • A coach helps them cull their possessions not once but twice.

This helps the family to:

  • Identify what’s really important to them.
  • Generate goods to sell at the garage sale which will help fund the makeover.

Hmmm… what if chapters had to justify what they are doing?

  • It’s so easy to add new things to do.
  • It’s often hard to let go of outdated ways and projects.

Instead we tend to keep it all - new and old - and stretch to make it happen.

Maybe we need a Clean Sweep team for our chapters as well as our houses?

Makes me think of chapter leaders…how do you decide which projects to keep and let go of each year?
