“I didn’t think anyone noticed I hadn’t been around much lately…”
I’m working on an auction for one of the associations I’m personally involved with.
As a new fundraiser, we decided to try out auctioning members’ time for coaching, consulting, etc.
I found myself in charge of rounding up the potential auction packages.
There was the obvious list [...]

However is no Superdog!
Today we are supposed to get more than a foot of snow. We already have a good eight or so inches.
Earlier this month, Raindrop discovered the joys of eating snow.
Imagine her glee upon finding our entire yard covered with a thick, luxurious blanket of fresh snow.
She seems determined to eat it [...]

Feels more like a welcome home!
James and I had dinner at Zingerman’s Roadhouse tonight.

I’m quoted in the Baltimore Sun!

It’s a multi-day event with lots of time spent together.
Diane is a real dynamo so we clicked soon after meeting.
A few days ago, Diane told me [...]

As I saw Raindrop (my dog) sway without being able to move her arm.
It was Friday night. We had already called the vet at 5 PM when Raindrop started up with intense shivers throughout her whole body.
The vet’s office assured me, based on my description, the snow Raindrop had eaten earlier gave her a [...]

What I’ve been saying for years - including yesterday!
This morning while cruising my Google Alerts, I discovered a newly-released white paper about Gen X and Gen Y Women.
(Google Alerts, in case you don’t know, is a great way to track what’s being said online about things you’re interested in.)
The International Museum of Women interacted [...]

And check out the view from the other side.
It seems like there’s been a surge of conversations lately about how hard it is to work with young adults - Gen Yers.
“I hate young people” website was featured on the evening news.
Recent research finds Gen Ys self-centered.
Gen Ys want to rewrite all the rules!
Makes Gen Yers [...]
