Look at Me Mom!
I’m quoted in the Baltimore Sun!
I’ve been following a column by Hanah Cho who writes about Gen Ys at work.
On November 26th, Hanh wrote about how companies are skipping over the Gen Xers to focus on attracting and retaining in Gen Ys at work.
I shot her an email noting I often see the same thing happening in associations.
(Many of the Boomer and older boards invest lots of resources in young professional efforts - but not in the leadership development of those in their 30s and early 40s.)
Hanah wrote an article about being overlooked for promotion yesterday - and shared my comments with her readers at the end of the column.
It was fun to see my name in print - twice in one week!
Makes me think of chapter leaders…what kind of PR have you been getting for your chapter?
