Here it goes…I’m one of the millions who likes to watch Dancing with the Stars.
The show this season has been a great course in the impact of human confidence.
And 90210’s Jennie Garth has been driving me nuts!
Jennie’s a beautiful dancer, and yet…
Every show she talks about how little she believes in herself.
Her lack of confidence is [...]

Let’s look five years out!
Today James and I took some time to talk about where we want to be in five years.
We explored our vision for our business - as well as our life together.
What do we want to be doing?
How do we want to do it?
Who do we want to work with?
We’ve done this periodically [...]

About time lost.
Saturday was my day to be the volunteer leader attending a chapter and board meeting in town.
It was a beautiful fall day - probably one of the last nice weekend days of the year. Rain was to arrive that night.
As I drove to the hotel at 8 AM, I saw people doing what I’d rather [...]

The paparazzi are following Cynthia D’Amour now too!
At least sort of.
Imagine my surprise when catching up on reading this week’s newspapers, I saw my photo in the Detroit Free Press!
(If you look closely at the photo above you’ll see the waiter talking to me.)
A week or so ago, James and I decided to check [...]

Clinton [...]

She refused to take my word.
One of Raindrop’s favorite activities is to sun herself on the porch and watch the world go by. (Raindrop is my adorable, opinionated dog.)
It was a beautiful, sunny morning - and seemed like perfect time to go outside to Raindrop.
I tried to explain to Raindrop while it was indeed sunny, it [...]

Almost… at the local laundromat.
The temperatures are dropping in Ann Arbor - and it’s time to bring out the heavy comforters for our chilly bedroom.
Our king-sized duvet was too large for our own clothes washer so I was off to the local laundromat to use their super-sized machines.
When I arrived, I sadly learned there [...]

Last night Fox 2 Detroit News ran an unforgettable documentary of one man’s story.
Lee Thomas is a handsome African-American reporter who we enjoy watching on the news.
Unknown to us, Lee has a disease called vitiligo.
His skin is losing pigment.
His face and body have splotches of white skin.
Lee shared his story on the news last [...]
