I’m So Embarrassed!
Posted on October 30th, 2007 by Cynthia D'Amour
I just got at least two hours/week back in my life.
If I do the math that equals:
- 104 hours/year
- 2.5 work weeks (if you work 40 hours/week)
- 4 full days of my life!
And I don’t have to change a thing.
Wait. What’s the problem you ask?
- I could have had this time back over a year ago.
- Instead, due to some mental block, I let it ride.
What am I talking about?
Yesterday I finally added more memory to my computer - RAM I bought more than a year ago. UGH!
- I’ve added memory on my own to my last two machines.
- I never saw a big difference in performance speedwise.
- Just was able to run more intense programs.
They started out fast machines - they were Macs.
For some reason, I thought my PC would react the same way to more memory.
- Boy was I wrong!
- Let’s just say the time lost by waiting to install makes me sick.
What a painful lesson for procrastinating!
Makes me think of chapter leaders…are you maximizing the potential of your resources?
