- People are complaining about the costs at the pump. (Parents talk about spending $100/week to shuttle kids around.)
- Resources such as the Gas Gouge Calculator and the AAA Fuel Cost Calculator are promoted.
- Local TV news and radio shows identify the cheap gas location of the day.
- The experts debate whether gas price increases have real economic impact.
With hyped awareness of increased gas prices, it is cool to complain - and talk about how to streamline driving efforts.
